Colleen passed away peacefully after a short illness on 27th August 2026, aged 79.
Dearly loved wife of John, and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Maree and Philip, Craig and Deanne, and the late Brendan.
Adored Nana to Brad, Jaymee and Kade, Lara and Ryan, and loving Great-Nana of George.
A service to celebrate the life of Colleen will be held in the South Taranaki Funeral Services Chapel, 268 High Street, Hawera, on Tuesday 1st September at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.

What a beautiful send off for Col, the last time I caught up with her was at Dads funeral and she gave me the biggest hug and lovely words, I will always remember.
She was endlessly caring and I will miss her wee Facebook notes and comments. She was always the hostess with the mostess, Maree’s 5th birthday was my 1st ever party and what a spread!
Dear John, Maree and Philip, Craig and Deanne and families, the world will feel a little less bright without her beautiful smile, her words she had put together, so true, Brad read them so well and she will always be with you.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of a loved wife, mother and sister. I have fond memories of the Duffy family at Meremere. You were very much part of our lives. I remember Colleen staying at our place after having her tonsils out and going through a rough time recovering.
