Passed away peacefully at her home in Eltham after a short illness on the evening of the 22 – 09 – 2022 with her loving companion and partner Jules Berghuis at her side. Wife of the late Jim Connell.
Much loved Mother, Mother in law, Grandmother and Great Grandmother of James (Jamie) and Yvette; Robert (Robbie) deceased; Marion and Chris; Chrystel, Kyle and Esson; Peter; Zane and Rhya; Graeme (Jock) deceased; Ashley and Korey, Lucas-James and Karter-Wolfe; Aimee, Lacey and Kora; Melanie, Marcus and Maeve.
A tireless worker and patient sufferer at rest.
Gone to join her boys with our blessing.
In accordance with family wishes a private cremation has been held. The family wish to advise that a Memorial Service honouring Janet’s life will be held on Saturday the 15th of October in the South Taranaki Funeral Services Chapel 268 High Street, Hawera at 1.00pm.
Janet has asked that everyone wear a bit of tartan.
