Colleen passed away peacefully at Trinity Rest Home and Hospital, Hawera, on Thursday 14th May 2026. Aged 92 years.
Loved daughter of the late James and Sheila Farr of Waverley.
Special Auntie of her nieces and nephews.
A mass will be celebrated in the Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 22 Brassey Street, Waverley, on Thursday 21st May 2026 at 11.00am,
followed by burial at the Waverley Cemetery.
The service will not be webcast but please feel free to leave a memory of Colleen or a message for the family

I lived around the corner from the Farr family and worked with Colleen in the Telephone Exchange at Waverley Post Office in early 1960. In my map of the world I put Colleen up there with one of the more special people I have known, she was always happy and pleased to see you, a very caring person, never a bad word to say about anyone, a lovely person in all aspects of life. I feel privileged to have known Colleen. Rest in peace you are now in good hands. Collin Kendrick
